Anne Phung Nguyen
My name is Anne Phung Nguyen and I am a Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in beautiful Orange County California with my incredible fianc JP and extremely happy Dad Henry. People know me best through my Instagram page, @annephung. This is where I share my story-the highs, the lows, and everything in between. The year 1990 was the time I emigrated to America together with my family, including my brothers and parents at the age of one and a half. If it wasn't for my parents' love of perseverance and sacrifice, I probably wouldn't even share my journey. To give them an opportunity to live a prospering future, I aimed on success and worked hard to achieve it. My plan of life was for me to study at university, land a job in a corporation, marry and buy an apartment. While I believed this was the ideal definition of success, life had different plans. The year 2013 was the year I began dreading going to my corporate job because the pay and prestige was not bringing me joyand I was feeling like I was wasting my life away in exchange for a salary but I knew that I had a destiny. The year 2013 was when I realized that my passion was working out. I also loved having fun and being able to assist others. As I moved towards this new direction in life, I started to find private training. The business I started was in 2014 and I'm celebrating 7 years of success in the year 2021. Very few Asian women work in the world of fashion. As a coach I would like to change the world through providing high-quality training that will help others become more healthy and happy. Additionally, I'm committed to empowering others so they can reach their goals, pursue their passions and live your life to the fullest. As I started my career, the death of my mother was the greatest loss to me. Her eight-year battle with Scleroderma has ended and she is now in Heaven. Her memory will forever be in my heart and mind. Life's lessons can be hidden from us yet they can prove extremely valuable. My Mom's passing changed me in so many ways. I am convinced that my mom offered me a second chance at life through her passing. Her death occurred on Tet/Lunar New Year Day. The day was her chance to begin her new life. I got my second opportunity to live a happy and fulfilled life. At the age of 30 I feel a sense of living and being alive. It's not like I just exist anymore. When I tell the story of my experiences, it's in the hope that others will be able to understand my experiences and thoughts. To know that they are not alone. Also, that there exists genuine love. Additionally, therapy is necessary and is not abnormal. In the end, your the health of your body is the most valuable thing you have. I pray that you live your life to the fullest and end it without regrets, as death is the sole thing that is promised to the people in our lives.
