Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the teenager age. In addition to BJJ training as well, she was also trained in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. At age 18, Ladd made her amateur debut at WCFC. Ladd went on an impressive 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent in the very first round. In WCFC Ladd fought, she defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen won over Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was able to hand Aspen a unanimous defeat and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's professional career. Ladd rebounded from her loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record to 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11 was her first fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the fight in one round with a TKO. Invicta 16, she was able to go from Bantamweight to the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed the strong abilities she acquired in wrestling to beat McGill. She ended her fight via the TKO (3rd round) (elbows as well as punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen dominated Hoy and finished her off in the second round by KO. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks beaten by a an unanimous decision. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut took place in UFC Fight Night 118 when she faced Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina by grounding and pounding her to the ground, gaining the TKO in the second round. Her dominance grew and she scored a more impressive win in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the first round. Also, she was awarded an extra bonus for her performance that night. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent for an rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's first major match. The two fighters put on an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd taking a unanimous win and both fighters receiving their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie was able to finish the fight in just 16 seconds and finish Ladd and her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, lost to Randamie. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
